On the morning of February 26, Yin Yong, Mayor of Beijing, met with Jon R. Moeller, P&G’s Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer.

Yin remarked that China’s economy was steady and improving last year, demonstrating sustained momentum and vast potential for future growth, which will generate enormous market opportunities. As the capital of China, Beijing remains committed to innovation-driven and green, low-carbon development. It is fostering new quality productive forces at a faster pace, increasing the adoption of new energy, and advancing high-quality development. P&G, a globally renowned consumer goods company and one of the earliest foreign enterprises to participate in China’s reform and opening-up, is encouraged to continue its exemplary role in promoting globalization strategies. By leveraging Beijing’s strengths in technological innovation and talent, P&G can enhance the R&D capabilities of its innovation center, intensify product development and market availability, and better meet consumer demands. Yin also stressed that Beijing welcomes P&G’s ongoing role in the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing to contribute valuable insights to the city’s high-quality development. He reaffirmed the city’s commitment to enhancing business environment and providing first-class services for enterprises operating in Beijing.

Jon Moeller expressed gratitude for Beijing’s long-standing support and emphasized P&G’s unwavering commitment to China and Beijing and readiness to expand its operations in Beijing for greater win-win outcomes.
